Dr. Andrew Kerstein is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 16 years of experience working with patients of all ages. He treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and trauma-related conditions. He especially enjoys his work with children and teens.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kerstein has developed specialized expertise in inpatient (hospital or residential treatment) psychiatry, crisis stabilization, and trauma-informed care. He is passionate about creating a supportive, healing environment for individuals during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

“I desire to be able to help and intervene with patients in crisis—adults and youth—without regard to background or disability,” Dr. Kerstein says.

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He went on to complete his internship at the University Hospitals System in Cleveland, OH, and his psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas–Wichita Psychiatry Residency Training Program.
